By installing or using the XLikes Chrome extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Extension.

1. Description of Service

XLikes is a browser extension that allows you to:

Archive tweets you have liked on X.com (formerly Twitter) to your local device
Search through your archived likes
Export your archived data as a database file

2. No Affiliation

Disclaimer: XLikes is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. (formerly Twitter, Inc.) or any of its subsidiaries. "X" and "Twitter" are trademarks of X Corp.

3. Account Requirements

To use the Extension, you must:

Have a valid X.com account
Be logged into X.com in your browser
Comply with X.com's Terms of Service

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Ensuring your use of the Extension complies with X.com's Terms of Service
Any data you export or share from the Extension
Respecting the intellectual property rights of tweet authors
Using the Extension for personal, non-commercial purposes only

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Extension to:

Scrape or collect data for commercial purposes
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe upon the rights of others
Circumvent any rate limits or access controls on X.com

6. Intellectual Property

The Extension software is provided under a permissive license. However:

Tweet content remains the intellectual property of respective authors
X.com's trademarks and branding belong to X Corp.
Archived data should be used for personal reference only

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

The Extension will meet your requirements
The Extension will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
The Extension will continue to work if X.com changes their API
Any archived data will be preserved indefinitely

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of XLikes shall not be liable for any:

Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data or profits
Account suspension or termination by X.com
Any other damages arising from the use of the Extension

9. API Changes

The Extension relies on X.com's internal APIs, which may change without notice. We make no guarantees about continued functionality if X.com modifies their platform.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to:

Discontinue the Extension at any time
Modify these Terms with reasonable notice
Revoke access if you violate these Terms

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
