About

I'm Michael Pedersen — a tech enthusiast, AI engineer, and fullstack developer interested in everything adjacent to technology. This site is where I publish technical essays, reverse-engineering deep dives, and explorations into whatever corner of computing has my attention.

My background spans fullstack web development, AI/ML systems, reverse engineering, and distributed systems. I enjoy taking things apart to understand how they work — whether that's decompiling a wearable's health algorithms, building autonomous AI agent infrastructure, or digging into the internals of content-addressed storage.

I've been in and around crypto since 2013, back when buying Bitcoin meant wiring a MoneyGram to buy Second Life Lindens and exchanging them on sketchy forums. The essays here sometimes draw from that history: early exchange collapses, DIY nutrition scenes, and the strange collision of technology and subculture that defined the early internet.

I'm currently focused on AI engineering — building agent systems, working with LLMs, and exploring how autonomous software changes the way we build and interact with technology.

Technical Interests

The essays here represent ongoing explorations rather than final answers — half-baked ideas. Some of them rise.
